During this study, 15 healthy men aged 20 to 30 were hired and first spent 10 hours a week at home and then spent 10 nights at the University Clinical Research Center.

There, these individuals were provided with high fat or fat calorie supper and were then told to refrain from sleeping for more than 5 consecutive hours for 4 days.
